LADY EARTH

Inspired by the union between humanity and the Earth, under the demonstrative form of Body Painting/Face Art, the series exploits a creative perspective when imagining women as flowers, a symbol of natural beauty.

The photo series follows butterflies – which symbolize blooming and freedom; on the journey of discovering the colors of the Earth. The flowers that appear along the journey: Rose, Orchid, Sunflower and Peace Lily – respectively representing LAND- WATER-FIRE- ​​​​​​​AIR (based on astrology) - are also the four basic elements that form everything on Earth.

Through that, the project wishes to fully express the idea of the harmony between humans and nature, thereby conveying the message that: expressing love and care for Earth is a way for us to love ourselves and everyone around.
