We all desire to get the new collection of a Brand. A new pair of Gucci sunglasses, a Dior Bag and Balenciaga accessory make our style exclusive and dynamic!

“The Fashion Global Market in a particular situation. It is divided in two great parts. The first one consists on people, for the majority adults, preferring to buy the new version of a product, by spending thousands of dollars for only one accessory. The second group is becoming trendy worldwide and it is composed of young people, especially from Gen Z.

According to some studies, Gen Z appears to be the generation better prefers to promote Vintage market, rather than buying a new product, why this?”

Explaining this situation can be long, but after some researches, I finally found quite a few information to articulate the topic.

First and foremost, the adults of today lived a period of great prosperity, where the economy was really strong.

“In 1980-1990 Vintage was not a Trend like now. Vintage was only for collectors, because the majority of people preferred to buy the newest products. What’s more, a LV bag had a lower price in 1990, whereas now you must spend more than 2.000€!”

Talking about the Gen Z, they buy from Vintage markets for the following reason.

“The lifestyle of contemporary society is no longer cheap than quite a few years ago. The Fashion Market increased all inside, from the price to talents, but it has spent less for quality of products. Reducing quality to increase the number of workers can be a bad choice!

A Young people wants to spend in quality, but with an available price. The solution?

Vintage Market!

Inside it, you can find original products, made with the best materials like real leather, precious metals and more, with a cheaper price.”

In a manner of speaking, the Young Generation minds exactly like that:

“Why must I spend a Balenciaga plastic bag of 3.000 dollars, when I can buy a real leather manufacturing bag of 1990 at only 500 dollars?

That’s also a great investment!”

Do you agree with Gen Z?
